What this scoreboard does
Carrom is scored in boards, not in single points, so a counter with a plus button gets it wrong from the first round. This board asks the only three things that decide the score: who cleared their men, how many of the opponent's men are still on the surface, and whether the queen was covered.
The arithmetic stays in the engine. It adds three for a covered queen — unless the winner has already reached 22 points, where the ICF laws say the queen is worth nothing — caps the board at twelve, and closes the game at 25 points or after the eighth board. A level score after eight boards sends you to an extra board, exactly as the rulebook requires.
One person runs the board from a phone. Everyone else follows a link or scans a QR code and sees the running game, the board counter and who breaks next. No accounts for spectators, no app to install, nothing to pay.

The queen rule applied for you
Three points below 22, nothing from 22 upwards. The threshold is checked against the score before the board, which is where paper sheets go wrong.
Both ways a game can end
25 points finishes it immediately; so does the eighth board, with the game going to whoever leads. A tie after eight means one more board.
Undo a whole board
Each board is a single entry on the match timeline, so a mistake takes one tap to reverse instead of unpicking twelve separate points.

Questions about the carrom scoreboard
Is the carrom scoreboard free?
Yes, and there is no paid tier behind it. Opening a board, running a match and sharing the live view all cost nothing, for any number of matches.
Do spectators need an account?
No. Share the link or let people scan the QR code. The spectator view opens in any browser and shows the running score, the board counter and the break indicator.
Does it apply the 22-point queen rule?
Yes. The engine checks the winner's score before the board is added and drops the queen's three points from 22 upwards, in line with the ICF laws. The board sheet also greys the queen toggle out and says why.
Can I use it for doubles?
Yes. Doubles is scored identically to singles, so the same board works. Nothing about the point values, the game length or the match format changes.
What happens if a game is level after eight boards?
The game keeps going into an extra board, which is what the laws require. Since the winner of a board always scores at least one point, that extra board always separates the players — carrom cannot be drawn.
