What this scoreboard does

3x3 is one 10-minute game on one hoop, and it can end early: the first team to 21 points wins in regular time. This board keeps that rule. Two buttons per team, +1 inside the arc or from the free-throw line and +2 from behind it, and the game closes itself the moment a team reaches 21.

The rest of the FIBA 3x3 rulebook is built in. A tie at the end of regular time opens an untimed overtime that the first team to score 2 points wins. The 12-second shot clock resets with one tap. Team fouls never reset: from the 7th the opponent sees a bonus badge for two free throws, from the 10th a badge for two free throws and the ball.

One person runs the board from a phone at the courtside. Everyone else follows a link or scans a QR code and sees the score, the clock, the shot clock and the fouls on a phone or a big screen. No accounts for spectators, no app to install, nothing to pay.

Built around the FIBA 3x3 rules

21 points ends the game

The first team to reach 21 in regular time wins and the board closes the game. Undo the deciding basket and the game is open again.

Untimed overtime to 2 points

A tie at 0:00 sends the game into overtime without a clock. The first team to score 2 points wins, and the board counts those points separately from the score.

12-second shot clock

Reset it on every new possession with one tap. It runs with the game clock and stops when you pause the game.

Team fouls with two thresholds

From the 7th team foul the opponent shoots two free throws; from the 10th it also gets the ball. The badges switch automatically, and fouls carry into overtime.

Questions about the 3x3 scoreboard

Is the 3x3 scoreboard free?

Yes, and there is no paid tier behind it. Opening a board, running games and sharing the live view cost nothing, however many games you score.

What happens when a team reaches 21 points?

The board ends the game for that team at once, as the FIBA 3x3 rules say for regular time. In overtime the 21 rule does not apply; there the first team to score 2 points wins.

How does overtime work?

Press End period when the game is tied at 0:00. The clock then counts up with no limit and the board shows the points scored in overtime. The first team with 2 of them wins.

Can I change the game length?

Yes. The game length is editable in the format sheet, so a 15-minute tournament format works. The 21-point target and the 12-second shot clock follow the FIBA 3x3 rulebook and stay as they are.

Does it run the tournament and the standings?

No. One board scores one game; brackets, pools and the running order live in a JudgeMate event, and the board does not replace a federation-certified system.
